DIY - denim wreath

I finally finished the wreath that I wanted to make for our bland white door.  I drew inspiration from the denim wreath made by another blogger and it looks awesome (The Anxious Blogger) !  It looks great and hip and young so I decided to give it a stab because I have around 2-3 denim jeans that are unfortunately about 3 sizes smaller on my now haha.

The main materials are old denim jeans (goodbye to my old CK jeans!) -

And some foam pool noodles which I got at Walgreens at 50% off! :)

I used duck tape to make a round wreathe using half of the pool noodle, then covered it with denim jeans that I cut into 2 inch strips.

Then I made these flowers using some scraps of fabric (most of which are Apollo's small onesies).  I will post the tutorial for these flowers on a seperate blog, so stay tuned!

Using glue gun, I put on the flowers on one corner of the wreath.

And voila!  Final product is now hanging on our front door and it looks really cute! :)
